Walking with Faith

Run an extra miles
or walk for a day
Hoping for the best
praying for goodness.

Stroke of luck they say
Winding road to take
Shallow hip of sand
Burst of fun to try

Come up with a smile
after a long run
Isn't hard enough
to try, to serve lot

Yesterdays been gone
Today might be luck
Tomorrows a wish
A good start to dwell

Walk your heart through faith
Trust love with courage
To hope and have faith
/To look up and pray.

Change

It is very difficult to ask your organization to change. Communication is one of the toughest issues in organizations. It requires "shared meaning." The message must be clear and in detail. It must radiate integrity and authenticity. It must suit the circumstances and the needs of both sender and the receiver. It must standout on some level, such as holding the beliefs of the receiver. Message has to resonate and connect.

Change management provide a broad range of suggestions regarding to communication during organizational change. It is important to me that what ever changes It must be quickly disseminated and the information is always available. If not, it is total disastrous. Not knowing and unknown to them. Or being alienated to plan or course. Better to hide or run for my life ehhh.

No to lies and hidden agenda. Integrity is an effortless charm. Be credible enough. People must understand the context, the purpose and the need for the changes. I'd rather answer with 'I don't know" rather than lie and make excuses. Such a dope. And remember we have two ears and one mouth. Meaning listen twice and talk once. Sometimes if we can't give the right answer, better not to speak than be realized you know nothing at all. So act with thoughtfulness. And don't let the rumors be at first to know. It kills people. and it might get into you, making you defenseless or defensive. It is also rewarding when you recognize and give rewards publicly. People learn to trust the organization in that action.

It is easy to change as to speak, but it is too difficult to accept. Be true to yourself and to others.
A good way to start a change.

Storm

Storm is claiming the country right now. Winds howling and rain is pouring hard. This storm makes me feel sleepy and lazy. I would like to sleep all day long  but then I need to work today. So I need to brush off the feeling of lazy bums and knots. Anyway, I hope school will announce suspension of classes for the reason of flood. I keep on dragging my feet to walk fast and work. Should I reconsider not going to work today? What about my pupils, sure they know i haven't been absent since the first day I met them, they will be at school waiting for me. Greedy me not to meet them, right?
I posted my student's ranking last night before meeting with the parents. Some were happy about their child's achievement, some didn't comment, some play dead, you don't have to wonder what they think of their children seeing their expressions upon receiving the report card.
But I am happy for the result of the meeting, I was able to convinced them to help their children achieve and discover their own talents. Children are children. They need help in every aspect of their life. So teach them well.
God bless you all.

Slice of life

Life itself is a nature. It is a gift God gave to us. If we treasure nature itself, then we must know how to treasure life itself. So many among us tries to elongate the life force of each human being, even on critical state. I cannot recall how many times doctors wanted to save lives among the hundreds of patients who are holding for their last breath. Is it really the doctors that saves lives? Or it is something else which eyes can never be seen. I have been searching for a perfect picture to describe life. Interesting to say that no matter how hard I tried to put it on  every angle, I think water is the best form.

Life is like a beautiful fountain, you don't know where the driving force usually came from. With our experience in our life on earth, kinds of emotions buttered our life. From happiness to grief, from pleasure to pain.  And when something unusual happened unexpectedly we owe it to our instinct. No matter what we do and where our fate leads, it usually ends to one.

I hope our life doesn't defeat the purpose of why we are living on earth. The driving force why we are breathing. The energy that passes through our vain that keeps us going. Like water, they run deep or shallow. They run fast or slow.  It always runs where the system leads them through. They don't flow against each other. They naturally flow.

So what ever you are doing, live our life with  truth. Be thankful about the life we have. Waking up is a good gift God gave us. It means you will always have time to do great things and do good. Like water, it replenish the earth to make it bountiful for our use. It energizes our body and it heals our mind. It is bountiful with organisms and animals that is food to us.  And us, human, have the power of creating and making life better for each one of us. Help the needy. Be generous enough. Extend the blessing you are receiving. Because I believe  life itself is a gift we cannot deny.

So share your life to others as our Lord Jesus share His to us. Don't abandoned those ones who needed us most. Never neglect the poorest of the poor. For our life is short. Unlike the water. We have given a chance to be human. So be kind enough to make our life worth while.

And may God prosper in you and make your life longer.
Bless you all.

Lock

There are times we are like this. Confined  by so many things in our life. We aren't able to do things and pursue things because there are some situations which hinder us or stop us.
Some hindrances that people cannot be over with are;
a. the craving of pleasure which at times is temporary and  at times we cannot have.
b. the feeling of vanity against other people's achievement which leads us to become dark inside.
c. half-hearted action  and little concentration for the reason of overlooking what others gained and achieved instead of pursuing their own goal.
d. the inability to calm their own mind. because of the pain they felt and  become unbalanced in every aspect of their life
e. Lack of conviction or trust leads them to be competitive, burned out, and confused.

What ever the chains that holds us and sometimes tearing us apart it must be stopped. Think of it as a motivational objects and think of it not as a problem. Sometimes or all the times we thought bad things happen out of bad luck. But it is not. Sometimes bad things must happen for  our benefit.

So learn from each walk. Be mindful of others. Starts within. Investigate and observe others. They too have problems of their own. Be willing and be energetic. It will create a good and positive ambiance. Be happy and content with what we have. It is the key to happiness. Simple things means a lot. Take time to relax and find things that gives joy. Be calm about the unexpected things that may arise. These things are challenges that we need to beat. Let us face our lives in all its vicissitudes with calm and tranquility without disturbance.
Let alone the problems problem you and not you problem the problem.
Trust God...

Remember...
Rome 8:28 In all things God work for the good of those who believes in him.

If you truly believe and be happy. God is the Key to our life.

Teacher's Commitment

Philippines

We teachers are constantly faced with challenges of how to improve student achievement. Further complicating the issue is the fact that the student population is now more heterogeneous than ever before (year 2000). So we teachers and school leaders become the focal point of the discussion.

Teachers are being asked to assume responsibilities which we are not equipped to handle and the consequences of failure are high for everyone, especially high for our children. (With the kind of tools needed, it will be the cutting edge for us and our pupils).

Not equipped, Why? The tools we are using against the schools outside outside our country are far more advanced. So globally competitive, is way beyond our capacity. (For now)

To address these challenges, we are engaging in various restructuring and reforms ultimately designed to improve student achievement.

We, teachers inspire others to attempt to accomplish goals that represent the values, motivations, wants, needs, aspirations, and expectations of both the leaders and the children.

We are committed to:
a. Exists within the social relationships and serves social ends;
b. Involves purpose and directions;
c. Influence process;
d. function; and
e. contextual and contingent

Therefore, we teachers involve those " who work with others to provide direction and who exert influence on persons and in order to achieve the school's goals"

We commit ourselves to achieve a common goal.

We are committed to:

* Challenge the process by having a willingness to take risks,
* Inspire a shared vision that becomes the driving force that creates the future,
* Enable others to act by creating a sense of ownership,
* Be a model the way through personal example and execution, and
* Encourage the hearts others and themselves during difficult times.

We teachers find a way to make others want what he or she wants, not through coercion but by articulating a vision and persuading others so they would want to become a part of it. Emphasize the importance of having a certain set of traits critical to effective learning. Thus, bent to certain not possessed by others. We must capture the extraordinary abilities.

I believe teachers have extraordinary abilities and so be it.....

God bless you all...

What's the matter with you?

The misty color hue of hope
Far greater than dream itself
As eyes contract to see more clear
Images play for only you

A valley of wild and free
Behold each other's breath
For life itself is a gift beyond
  Than those expected wiles

Blue is color that depict dreams
Hazy hues of truth and real
from beyond each other's realm
embraces each needs and wants

The desired quest in life
Is like the blue itself
alien in everything
hoping as it is for real

Presumed this blue is jungle
of you and inner you
what will be the cause of blue
which is beholding you....

God bless you all..

Life's venture

On my long walk
in each steps
i remember
the things that I have done

Some with no regrets
some still leads me into thinking
others, wishing
I could rewind

Suddenly I stopped
standing still
Don't know if I"ll continue
or return back

Mini strips of thoughts
falling dried leaves
flowers blooming
and a long way to go

As I gaze upon the road
softly breeze touches my chick
There's a comfort on a cold wind
embraces everything about me

I will go on walking
counting each steps everyday
treasuring the moment as a gift
and I won't run

I will finish to the end
the purpose of my life on earth
To win each battle and grow
learning to venture each flow

I won't stop
praying
wishing
hoping

Believing that
at the end
generously
 touched everyone's life

Reality

Reality
Beyond a dream
there is a gift
a treasure  most loved
In a core of sweet embrace
found in deepest heart

I stood tall beyond compare
lifted up by memories
Silently endure the pain
the whispered wishes
down my knees

Freely i made myself dance
from the voice of up above
blown by silent hymns
I floated

Did I drift from afar
Did I stay alone with wondering heart
Did I alone harvest the soil
Did I alone make it to the night

A far cry of laughter deep within
a gold of strands attached to very core
Amidst of being alone
I made it through the night

Beloved, look at the stars beneath
woven dreams beyond
the moment you step outside
is the wonder of that dream

A Dream

Once I had a dream
which possessed me long ago
which strove me to live longer
and motivated  to strive harder

Once I had a promise
to keep for the rest of me
to bring forth happiness and joy
to wait for each and every moment

From the rest of my world
imprinted upon me
the promise I made
conquered by love

Now like a tree against all odds
Withering and long forgotten
yet standing tall upon the rest
waiting from a well kept promise

Its been long ago
everything ends well
but then awakened by the call
like the last leaf on the bow

Sure i didn't forget
The promise I made long ago
I just didn't make it
late for that last minute call

Looking back at the time
where did I go wrong
It is still there
standing so tall

Now I cannot return back
nor rewind the moment
there is no hesitation
for the unfulfilled promise

Should i forget
with no regrets
the song of my heart
tuned to what is now

should I be thankful
for the power of that promise
that kept me going
that gave me strength
to live and be happy
content with what i have

Is that the purpose of dream
to believe beyond compare
to live with hopes and wishes
to survive with light and joy

Now, am happy and free
the purpose is well served
what I am now I bestowed
upon the unfulfilled promise

Slimming Diet

I have read this tips and I think it will help others. Specially with those one who tried very hard to slim down even for a bit. The way people cook and the food available to the market has a sound matter in what we are today. I believe it is not a matter of how much you eat, or how frequently you feels like eating but it is what you eat. I am not saying you need to change the food you are actually taking in. But be considerate on putting it on your meal. The food I read is good and might not break you if you add this on your list. It helps me a lot, excluding the gym and working style i got. It also helps my mom to be on her knees. With osteoperosis, I need to assemble large reading and meet many people with what they call "We are the healthy people who plan this blah blah blah" And believe me sometimes they scared me away....But I have learned a few bits that I can share. Do you Choose wellness when you shop?

Here are some readings I have done hope it will help you good.
How to Check the Label

WHY CHECK THE LABEL
As consumers, we need to make wise choices about the food we eat. This is where food labels come in. It can help you make informed decisions towards choosing good nutrition and health
Knowing how to read food labels also assures you that you are getting more value for your money and protects you from incorrect clai
How do I check the label.
* The basics of the food label.
* Choosing the Low Energy-dense food
* Understanding Products Claim

The Basics of the Food Label
Labels are designed so that consumers are provided with useful information about the product and how this would fit into their daily diets. The following are a big help:
Look at the list of ingredients. This gives an overview of the product’s "recipe". Ingredients are arranged from the most to the least amount. If a product lists its ingredients as
Sugar, Water, Artificial Flavor, Juice Concentration
- this means that the bulk of the product is sugar. The ingredient with least amount is juice concentrate
Compute for % calories from fat. This indicates the calories contributed by fat per serving. For example, a food label reads:

Amount per Serving
Calories 200 Calories From Fat 50
Simply calculate the ratio of calories from fat to calories per serving.
50/200 x 100% = 25%
Meaning, of the 200 calories a serving of this product gives you, 25% comes from fat!

For foods with fat % of above 25%, eat them in moderation. Look for foods that have 25% or less fat calories per serving!
Be aware of health-sensitive ingredients. Some of these include fat, sugar, and salt. The rule is "Less is better". Frequent high intake of these ingredients is associated with obesity, kidney diseases, heart problems, and diabetes.

Watch the nutrient amounts. Read the Nutrition Facts Label for nutrient amounts. These are given either by % Daily Values (which is US-based) or the Recommended Energy and Nutrient Intake (%RENI, which is locally based). This allows you to compare nutrient amounts per serving among different brands of a particular food.

For example, the label of an iced tea product reads:
Serving Size 200 mL Per 9g %RENI
Vitamin C 37.5 mg 50%
Remember that this %RENI applies to most nutrients, including calories, protein, and various vitamins and minerals.
Get more value. What’s the real cost per serving of a product? Check how many servings you can make from a big pack! There are 2 items you’ll need to look at:
Net Weight is the amount of product inside the pack. This can be found near the bottom of a pack, usually at the front of the packaging.
Serving Size is the amount (usually in grams or milliliters) per serving of a product.
Divide Net Weight by Serving Size. This gives you the number of servings in the pack. With the result you get, do you think the pack is worth the price being charged? You may want to pick out a different pack size.
Choosing Low Energy-Dense Foods
Go for low energy-dense foods 1. Energy density refers to the ratio of
calories to the weight of the food.
Less calories per portion size is generally better for weight management. Eating low energy-dense food will help you feel full because of the relatively bigger portion size, but low caloric amount

If a label reads:
Serving Size 40 g
Servings per Container 5
Amount per Serving
Calories 180
- divide the calories per serving by the weight of the serving in grams:
180 calories ÷ 40g = 4.5
Compare this value with the following standard list for Energy Density:

Energy Density Examples

Below 0.6 Very low Low fat milk, yogurt

0.6 - 1.5 Low Cottage cheese, pasta

1.5 - 4 Medium Hard candy, pretzels, cheddar cheese

4 - 9 High Crackers, chips, chocolate, cookies

Remember to limit your intake of medium and high energy-density foods.
If you want to manage your weight, go for lower energy-density foods!

Understanding Product Claims
Review the Health Claims.
A product can claim that it is high in fiber and therefore can lower incidence
of heart disease. A decreased risk of heart disease is associated with an
intake of 14 g of fiber for every 1,000 calories consumed in a day.
That’s equivalent to around 25-30 g of fiber per day. Compare with what is
on the label.

Here are other facts you can compare with what’s on the label:
Calcium can reduce the risk of osteoporosis. Check if the product has at least 115 mg of calcium
A low-fat diet can lower risk for developing certain types of cancer.
For solid products, go for 3g or less per 100g serving
For liquid products, go for 1.5g or less per 100 mL

The label can provide this health information to consumers to enable them to develop healthy dietary practices.
Understand nutrient content claims. They are not always as they seem!
A zero-calorie product can actually contain up to 4 calories per serving.
A fat-free product can contain up to 0.5 grams of fat per serving.
A low-fat product can have as much as 3 grams for solid products
and 1.5g for liquid products.

CHECK THE LABEL!
The Food Label was designed to help people choose foods well.
By knowing how to use it, you can understand how a specific food item can fit into your overall diet.
You can more effectively and efficiently select foods and choose between products.
So go ahead, check the label!

Who is the Noble one?

Laughing insane, boast his wealth
he said he owns the sun and the moon
There is one so rich, money is his bed
But the vault he had, lots of sin  in there...

The insane is singing songs without a hymn
You'll shake your head and call him crazy
There is one whose not , who knows different song
He prays day and night, with lies on his tongue

Who is the noble?
Who is the true insane?
Who is  lucky?
Who is calling mercy?
Is it the one who is born impaired?

The only thing he wears is shaggy, and rags
it sympathize on his broken mind
There is a lad who wore golds and diamonds
But once worn out snakeskin envelopes him
In his move and action
everyone is having fun
in our eyes he is but only crazy
But if we are gonna be judged together
In God's eyes, He is pure and noble

So, who is the insane one?

A Few Steps for Good Relationship

Improve Relationships

The joys and pains of relationships are never as pronounced as during Holiday periods. Valentines day is fast approaching, use these seven steps as building blocks to strengthen your relationships. You'll have a more satisfying and joyous hearty period, and so will those close to you.

Although the approaching valentine day provide an immediate incentive, there are also long term benefits to be gained. Reputable studies show a strong correlation between happiness and high quality relationships. It's therefore in our best interests to nurture and build strong relationships for this Love Day season and beyond.

From many articles and studies of the characteristics of strong relationships we can distill the following list of seven important steps or components; think of these as relationship building blocks.

* Commitment
* Freedom
* Respect
* Support
* Equality
* Healthy conflict resolution
* Trust

Committed Relationship

Fundamental to a strong relationship is commitment. Commitment to making the relationship strong and healthy is the foundation on which it can grow. Relationships take work. They take effort. Like life itself, relationships are dynamic, ever changing because we are ever changing. A strong relationship requires continuous nurturing, and that takes commitment.

Commitment to the relationship means unconditionally caring about maintaining and improving the relationship, even during times of anger or disappointment. There may be times when you aren't even sure you like the other person, but if you're committed you'll spend the effort to sustain the relationship during tough times.

Sand Castle

Morning can be defined
Like a castle on the sand
Don't you ever touch
And it will fall apart
And  wind will topple it down

The waves of wrong love
Is its mortal enemy
If the bayou is being kissed
The sand castle will be destroyed

So before we ever speak
Of everlasting promises
To our beloved ones, on our mind and  action
Think it over if your love is true
Even if you crossed a thousand roads

Once two hearts
Vowed to keep their love
Bound by sand castle
Love for short temper

For short and a while
Tears brought by it
Love that happened to us
The shattered sand castle
