Busy

Back to teaching...and I am holding 48 pupils in my class...age ranges to 7 and 8 including 61/2...
Grade two section 2. Heterogeneous group....Welcome to my room..hahaha! really neck breaking.
But I have another job and I hope my health will took me way long...
I just hope I could make it, though the other job is a night shift job, and the teaching is in the afternoon, I hope I really could extend my health with the help of God...I could do it. My eldest is in college now, taking up
 Food Technology, a 4 year course then the board exam. My son is 4th year high school, the busy one because he was elected an officer of the school government group and he was also in a Military corp. group. My youngest is a darling..the Barbie of the family...She is also on a top list student and she is now grade 4....
They are my treasure since I am a single mom...I need to work double time...My husband if I could call him (X) thanks for extending his help for my daughter...but his money is a 3 day meal for my eldest. My son and youngest goes to school together...Big brother is a big brother to her...Thanks to him. His support is something I could rely on. My eldest...hmmm thanks to her...she is good in housekeeping...
Everyday is a routine work and I pray I could maintain this two jobs. I don't want to give up any of the two.
Well, I hope anyone could understand the life of a single mom....God bless you all....

Teacher's Commitment

Philippines

 We teachers are constantly faced with challenges of how to improve student achievement. Further complicating the issue is the fact that the student population is now more heterogeneous than ever before (year 2000). So we teachers and school leaders become the focal point of the discussion.

Teachers are being asked to assume responsibilities which we are not equipped to handle and the consequences of failure are high for everyone, especially high for our children. (With the kind of tools needed, it will be the cutting edge for us and our pupils).

Not equipped, Why? The tools we are using against the schools outside outside our country are far more advanced. So globally competitive, is way beyond our capacity. (For now)

To address these challenges, we are engaging in various restructuring and reforms ultimately designed to improve student achievement.

We, teachers inspire others to attempt to accomplish goals that represent the values, motivations, wants, needs, aspirations, and expectations of both the leaders and the children.

We are committed to:
a. Exists within the social relationships and serves social ends;
b. Involves purpose and directions;
c. Influence process;
d. function; and
e. contextual and contingent

Therefore, we teachers involve those " who work with others to provide direction and who exert influence on persons and in order to achieve the school's goals"

We commit ourselves to achieve a common goal.

We are committed to:

* Challenge the process by having a willingness to take risks,
* Inspire a shared vision that becomes the driving force that creates the future,
* Enable others to act by creating a sense of ownership,
* Be a model the way through personal example and execution, and
* Encourage the hearts others and themselves during difficult times.

We teachers find a way to make others want what he or she wants, not through coercion but by articulating a vision and persuading others so they would want to become a part of it. Emphasize the importance of having a certain set of traits critical to effective learning. Thus, bent to certain not possessed by others. We must capture the extraordinary abilities.

I believe teachers have extraordinary abilities and so be it.....

God bless you all...
